Maranatha Missions Movement

Equipping the local church to reach nations

The Maranatha Missions Movement (3M) is a registered nonprofit association in Mexico. The organization serves as a missions mobilization group based out of the Maranatha Evangelical Church in Ixtlan de Juarez, Oaxaca, which is part of the Union of Mexican Evangelical Churches. 3M aims to glorify God and complete the Great Commission by training disciples that make disciples at the local, regional, national, and international level. The group also exists to mobilize others to do the same. To accomplish these goals, 3M seeks to be a strong witness in the local community, plant new churches in unreached areas, and offer support and resources for fellow churches. Furthermore, 3M works primarily in rural communities, and the group seeks to multiply missions-minded churches where there are no churches by training new leaders and missionaries from local communities who will impact the world for Jesus Christ.

We believe in:

  • The divinely inspired, infallible, and eternal Word of God.

  • The one eternal triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).

  • The fall of man and the inherent sin nature of all humans.

  • The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice secured salvation for sinners.

  • The gift of salvation as the means of the regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification of sinners.

  • The election and perseverance of true believers through God’s grace.

  • The local church operating under the authority of Jesus Christ.

  • The ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

  • The Great Commission as a command and privilege.

  • The return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment of men.

  • The eternal punishment of the unrighteous and the eternal reward of the righteous.
